Ethnic Ministries
The late Pastor Hanna Sullaka began an outreach ministry to Arab-speaking residents in Dearborn in the late 1990s and then moved his work to Warren in the early 2000s. His crew uses our building to run an outreach program
assisting Arabic people with immigration information. Hope is an International Friendship Center of POBLO (People Of The Book Lutheran Outreach). POBLO is a Registered Service Organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Currently POBLO is running an ESL (English as a second language) class on Tuesday and Thursday Morning at 10:30 am. On Wednesday evenings beginning at 430 pm in room 201, Hope helps Pastor Hanna’s crew with an ESL citizenship class. |
Hope Counseling Service
Hope Counseling Service is a private, for-profit company that uses our facilities to provide help and hope for life's difficulties such as divorce, addictions, spiritual issues, abuse, and more. While this group shares our name and facility, it has no affiliation with nor has an endorsement from Hope Lutheran Church.

Worship Ministries

Hope’s Worship Ministries comprise a large group of volunteers who donate their time and talents to be involved in Vocal, Instrumental, Dramatic and Technical aspects of worship.
There are vocal choirs for children and adults, hand bells, orchestra, and a praise band
for the musically inclined, and dramatic opportunities in small and large groups. For
those who are tech savvy or just like electronics there's the Tech Deck to make sure
that the lights-cameras-audio are ready for worship and other special events. Hope
has a number of people who offer private lessons on various instruments as well.
We have a number of nonmembers who participate in Hope’s Worship Ministry,
so membership in the church is not required. Questions can be directed to
Dave Merte our Minister of Worship Arts, Dale Zink our orchestra director
who also gives private lessons, and Steve Gauss, our Modern Music
worship leader.
